“Experienced NET”

Dear parents, I am Miss Ada and I love children! I taught Jolly Phonics (sound recognition, blending, and oral and written decoding), English grammar, reading comprehension and Trinity classes to children from K1 to P6 at Jolly Kingdom English Learning Centre in Hong Kong as a full-time native English teacher. I have also privately tutored kindergarten and primary school students in Hong Kong for 2 years. All this has been a great experience where I had the opportunity to work with children of different ages. As for my background, I immigrated to Quebec, Canada at the age of four. I learned English and French in local schools along with Canadian children. I studied the International Baccalaureate Program (IBO) and graduated from an international high school. Then time came for university studies and I finally earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010. From kindergarten to university, I have been educated in both English and French for about 20 years. I am currently looking forward to teaching students online! I use flashcards, objects, online images, short digital animations and videos to add vitality in class. It is important for the children to learn English with FUN! All the classes are conducted in English only and I contact the parents on a regular basis to keep them posted on the progress of their child.
