Hello, everyone! I am Ms. Sarah, an educator with unique background and a passion for teaching. Having grown up in both Canada and Hong Kong, I have developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and experiences. After completing my studies at Simon Fraser University, I embarked on a fulfilling career as a primary school teacher in Hong Kong. For four years, I have had the privilege of teaching English, math, and science, witnessing the growth and progress of my students. Recently, I was promoted to the position of English deputy head teacher, where I design curriculum and set test papers. I have become adept at navigating exam-oriented settings like SSPA and HKDSE, ensuring my students are well-prepared for academic challenges. However, my true passion lies in fostering inquiry-based learning. I empower students to take ownership of their education, encouraging exploration and questioning. By instilling a sense of responsibility and independence, I have seen my students develop a genuine love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. Beyond teaching, I am committed to the holistic development of my students, equipping them with skills for success. Witnessing their growth, both academically and personally, brings me immense joy.
