My name is Michael. I studied in a Chinese-medium school, and my family doesn’t know English at all, so the language environment wasn’t ideal for learning English at all. But driven by my passion and love for the language, I persevered and kept learning. I started off barely knowing any English, but I made significant progress in a short period of time. By the time I was in Form 3, I could already understand English news programs. Now, I can communicate fluently in English and read English newspapers like BBC News and The New York Times without any difficulty. That’s why I truly believe I can help different students improve their English, and I hope you’ll give me a chance. In the future, I may also teach Chinese and Mathematics.
