I graduated from Lancaster University with an upper second in English Language and Linguistics. I am a highly motivated, bilingual person who relishes new challenges and able to work under pressure. Throughout my degree, I have done both education and non-education related working experience. And now, I am seeking an opportunity to further develop skills and gain experiences in education sector.\r\n\r\nIn 2012, I started to teach children from 3 to 13 years old till now, including but not limited to guiding them to complete different subjects’ homework, teaching them phonics skills, doing revision in a fun way... At first, I got an opportunity to become a part-time teacher in Ho Lap Primary School. I was responsible for instructing P.5 and P.6 students in completing their homework and ensuring smooth class flow. This experience let me know which is the effective way for junior students to gain knowledge in an interesting way. Aside from work experiences, I did spend my free time in volunteering. Throughout my degree, I had volunteering experience with non-profit organizations in both UK and HK, for example, fundraising for ‘BBC Children in Need’ and ‘SPCA’. \r\n\r\nApart from the above-mentioned experiences, my personal skills allow me to meet your child\'s needs as well. First, I own excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese and English as I born in Hong Kong and studied English language as my major in the UK. Second, I am an effective and outgoing person this allows me to express my own ideas clearly in public speech and written works. In addition, I have patience with slow learners. I understand that learning new things have never been easy, so I prefer to teach children in a more interesting way rather than the traditional teaching methods. Last but not least, I am eager to learn new things and challenge myself to improve my skills. \r\n\r\nI look forward to hearing from you soon!\r\n
